Outside the wax museum. It was kind of a disappointment but it didn’t ruin the day completely. The great wall was much much better though.

Just a typical street in Xi’an! Amazingly filled with life and lots of noise.

Our last night in Shanghai! It’s been great here and I’m going to miss this place a lot! This photo was taken at the M2 club which is the most popular night club in Shanghai!

Amazing hospital with lots of neon lighting. Never seen that before.

We were hiking up the Mao’er mountain in Yanji. It was a 2 km walk with lovely views and tired Chinese. In my opinion Chinese are not really used to working out.

A very sceptical Michael before a traditional Chinese cup therapy session.

Another day in Yanji

Today we went shopping and to my surprise clothes aren’t really that cheap in yanji. I paid 100 Yuan for a T-shirt which is pretty close to Danish standard. Anyway it looked nice so I took it.

Afterwards we had a nice bowl of noodles with lots of stuff in it. Spicy of course. The Chinese here in yanji seem surprised to see a white dude who likes spicy food. Its also amazingly cheap. We only paid 15 yuan for a complete meal. Soo nice right?

We also decided to try out the Chinese cup therapy which has nothing to do with tea. Basically they suck all the air out of a bunch of cups and attach them to your back such that your skin gets sucked up inside the cup. Looks ridiculous and probably has no significant medical effect at all. But it was an experience and we got a few nice pictures out of it. ;-) Meilan is hurting pretty bad, but I think she’s also happy she tried it.

Tomorrow is predicted to contain quite a bit of rain which suggestes indoor activities again. Let’s see what happens!
